Content Guidelines
Builders Bulletin Board is a builder-to-builder platform for sharing job site experiences by service address. These guidelines help keep content useful, factual, and respectful.
What to post
- Experience-based details about the work: scope, timeline, change orders, access, communication, and how the project was managed.
- Factual, specific information that other builders can learn from (for example: “deposit was paid on start, final payment was late by X days”).
- Professional language. Write as if the reader is another contractor planning a job.
What not to post
- Personal information (doxxing): names of residents, phone numbers, email addresses, photos of people, license plates, or any sensitive identifiers.
- Harassment or hate: insults, threats, discriminatory language, or content intended to shame or intimidate.
- Unverifiable accusations: allegations of criminal activity or medical/financial claims without clear, experience-based context.
- Illegal content or instructions to do harm.
- Spam, advertising, or affiliate links.
Privacy
Content is organized by service address. To protect privacy, do not include identifying details about individuals. We may edit, hide, or remove content that includes personal information or violates these guidelines.
